Müller-Ruprecht's "Orange" wine from the Pfalz region of Germany is a unique skin-contact white wine, known for its cloudy appearance and vibrant flavors. It's a blend of white grapes, predominantly Huxelrebe, with some Weissburgunder, Kerner, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer. The wine undergoes 10 days of skin contact, followed by fermentation in stainless steel and aging in large, used oak barrels. It's intentionally unfiltered and unfined, resulting in a cloudy texture and a light-bodied, aromatic profile.
