Coquus Pais is a red wine produced in the Itata Valley of Chile by winemaker Adrian Parada Arrau. The wine is made from the Pais grape, also known as Criolla Chica or Mission. This variety has historical significance, being one of the first to be brought from Spain to the Americas. The wine is known for its light body, moderate acidity, and fruity flavors with hints of red berries, cherry, and plum.
