This slightly smoky blended scotch is a fantastic value for the whiskey connoisseur. Expertly blended for enjoyability, this is better than it should be at the very reasonable price. Great on the rocks, this is a Scotch for all seasons, not too hot, thick or unwieldy for a summer dram.
The former King Street label has been assimilated into Compass Box, but there’s still solid product being made here. Check out this flavor bomb; Oloroso casks adding the velvet and Islay adding the hammer. “Inclusion of malt whisky matured in Oloroso Sherry-seasoned butts, and an Islay single malt of a powerfully peaty nature, has made this a blended Scotch whisky like no other.
